Zoom Remote Training or WebEx GD&T Training Programs

At James D. Meadows & Associates, Inc., we offer remote Zoom Training or WebEx training to provide a wide variety of GD&T courses (basic through advanced GD&T applications), Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis training and Dimensioning and Tolerancing of Gages and Fixtures training, as well as other GD&T training and support programs. We offer both packaged and customized GD&T classes, incorporating your processes and products. James D. Meadows has spent many years working in all areas of design, manufacturing and quality so that your staff can have complete confidence in the GD&T guidance that they receive.

We offer GD&T courses with lengths from 2 1/2 to 5 days so that we can meet your training needs and time constraints. To optimize learning, our courses are recommended to be 3 days in length. We provide "applications-based" GDT training on the principles contained in the ASME Y14.5-2018, Y14.5-2009 and ASME Y14.5M-1994 standards on Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. If requested, this GD&T training can be tailored around your product line, knowledge level of your staff, and design, manufacturing and inspection requirements.

Level 1 Course


Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing [per the ASME Y14.5-2018, Y14.5-2009 and 1994 Standards and the Differences between them]
- This comprehensive course covers all of the basics on how to interpret, apply and measure GD&T per ASME Y14.5 and other companion standards like Y14.5.1 and Y14.43. This course includes the newest principles introduced in the ASME Y14.5-2018 standard.

These Level 2 courses provide "advanced applications" training in various aspects of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing:

Level 2 Course

Advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing - This course will expand, extend and reinforce the GD&T knowledge of all who attend. It covers the most complex topics in the Y14.5 standard and shows participants how to apply them to any product line.

Level 2 Course

Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis - Learn to analyze tolerance stack-ups using both plus and minus and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

Level 2 Course

Dimensioning and Tolerancing of Functional Gages and Fixtures and Variables Data Collection Analysis - Learn to design, dimension and tolerance gages and fixtures to inspect geometric tolerances per the newest revision of the ASME Y14.43 standard. Attendees will also learn to apply variables data collection methods and datum establishment by CMMs and other inspection tools, and will learn techniques to analyze collected variables data.
